The top of DS’s quilt is done. I’ve been sneaking around for weeks working on this one. Its hard to do it so he doesn’t suspect anything. DD has been in on it too and its really hard for her to not let it slip. Now to put together a back and quilt it. I have the best Michael Miller black and with dark gray dots for the back but I need to figure out some twist because nobody wants a plain back.

I’m up to 12 blocks for DS’s quilt. I’m LOVING doing this. I bought all of the fabric on line, mostly from etsy seller Uberstitch. I must say some of the fabrics are my favorite. I LOVE the blue asian writing and the pale green fine french script. I also very chuffed that I have managed to get this going without a single flower fabric. All told I will need 20 blocks to make a double sized quilt.
